Notices browse

Overview

Notices browse is Tendersight's primary discovery surface for public procurement β€” the place you search, filter, and scan tenders before opening a notice detail page or starting a pursuit. Official publications from European sources (SEAP, TED, and national portals) flow into one searchable catalog so your team does not retype titles, deadlines, or CPV codes by hand.

Browse is the market-intelligence entry point upstream of everything else in Opportunities: notice detail tabs, alert rulesets, analytics drill-through, and pursuit creation. The same filter engine powers Lead Finder, the Home assistant tender search, and the alert ruleset builder β€” criteria you tune here can become a saved watch in minutes.

Tip: Before you rely on browse results for a bid decision, confirm you have:

  • Selected the correct active team if you plan to create a pursuit afterward

  • Applied Ongoing status when you only want actionable tenders

  • Narrowed with country and CPV before stacking keyword filters (avoids zero-result traps)

  • Bookmarked Lead Finder if your team discovers tenders there daily

Important: Notices in browse are read-only market data. You cannot edit publication fields from the list. When you are ready to bid, you open a notice and create a pursuit β€” your team's editable workspace.

How to open notices browse

  1. Sign in to Tendersight (guests can browse but have limited actions).

  2. In the left sidebar, open Opportunities β†’ Notices.

  3. You land in Lead Finder β€” the dedicated discovery experience for browsing tenders at scale.

Practical note: Bookmark Lead Finder if your team lives there daily. Links from alerts, emails, and dashboards still deep-link into Tendersight notice detail pages on your domain.

Lead Finder integration

Choosing Opportunities β†’ Notices opens Lead Finder β€” a specialized host for high-volume tender search. The filters, result rows, and sort options are shared with:

  • Lead Finder browse UI

  • Home assistant tender search

  • Alert ruleset rule builder (step 2 of Create alert)

  • Dashboard assistant actions that search tenders

If you remain in the main Tendersight app without Lead Finder, notice lists also appear embedded on Home and in analytics views β€” but the canonical full-filter browse experience is Lead Finder.

Caution: Lead Finder may run on a different subdomain for performance. Notice detail pages remain on your Tendersight domain. A redirect away from tendersight.com during browse is expected, not an error.

Primary workflow β€” from browse to pursuit

Flow diagram

Step-by-step

  1. Open Opportunities β†’ Notices.

  2. Add filters β€” start with country, CPV, and Ongoing status.

  3. Optionally add keywords for product or technology terms (searches document text, not only the short description).

  4. Sort by deadline when triaging urgency.

  5. Click a contract title to open the notice.

  6. On overview, confirm latest version, submission deadline, and documents.

  7. Click Create pursuit or Receive alerts for similar future notices.

Filter strategies

Start broad, then narrow

CPV + country + ongoing status catches most actionable pipelines. Add keywords only after the result set is manageable β€” over-filtering with five constraints at once often returns zero rows.

Keywords search documents

The keyword engine indexes tender document text. This is the same engine that powers alert matching. A term buried in a PDF attachment can surface a notice even when the overview description is generic.

Post-award research

Use Awarded companies to answer: which notices did competitor X win? Pair with Status: Awarded and open Notice participants on the detail page.

Turn browse into monitoring

After tuning filters:

  1. Note which constraints matter (CPV, value band, authority).

  2. Open Create alert β†’ step 2 and recreate the same filters.

  3. Or on any matching notice, click Receive alerts on Notice overview to seed criteria automatically.

What you can and cannot do from browse

You can

  • Search and filter the full catalog

  • Open any notice detail page

  • Copy share links from notice command bar (after opening a row)

  • Seed alert criteria from tuned filters

  • Jump to analytics profiles from authority or company links on rows (when shown)

You cannot

  • Edit notice title, deadline, CPV, or authority from the list

  • Create a pursuit directly from a row without opening the notice (pursuit actions live on detail pages)

  • Force a sync β€” listings update on Tendersight's schedule from official sources

  • Export the entire result set as a bulk download from browse (use per-notice document download on overview)

FAQ

Why am I redirected away from tendersight.com when I open Notices?

Notices browse is hosted on Lead Finder for performance and specialized UX. Notice detail pages, pursuits, and team settings remain on your Tendersight domain.

Are filters identical in Lead Finder, browse, and alerts?

Core filter types and AND semantics are the same. Lead Finder may expose layout options first; alert rulesets use the same filter dialogs in the create wizard.

Can I search by official notice number?

Yes β€” use the Keywords filter or type the identifier in keyword search. Official notice IDs often match when published in title or documents.

Do browse results include historical awarded tenders?

Yes when you include Awarded or Expired in status filters. For ongoing pipeline work, restrict to Ongoing.

How do I save my favorite filter combination?

Create an alert ruleset with the same filters. Browse itself does not save named searches except via list view preferences (columns/density).

Can two teams see different notices in browse?

No β€” the catalog is shared market data. Teams differ only in pursuits, alerts, and permissions after sign-in.
